Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 12 or 100. Taught in French. Study of contemporary France and Francophone world (Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Quebec), government, institutions, and cultural, economic, social, and political issues. May be repeated for credit with topic change. Letter grading.
