Nuclear Physics Laboratory
Lecture, two hours; laboratory, four hours. Recommended: course 124. Students conduct experiments about cosmic ray counting and statistics, radioactive decay law measurement, beta decay spectrometer, and Compton scattering; perform independent data analyses of experimental data; and write scientific report for each experiment. P/NP or letter grading.
