Tracing of writing and rewriting of traditional story types, specifically the adventure story as represented by Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe" and its remanifestations in Coetzee's "Foe" and the fairy tale as represented by "Cinderella" and its various cross-cultural remanifestations.
