Stability and consistency in temporal discretization of parabolic and hyperbolic systems. Analysis of numerical dissipation and dispersion. Multifield variational principles for constrained problems. Meshfree methods: approximation theories, Galerkin meshfree methods, collocation meshfree methods, imposition of boundary conditions, domain integration, stability. Letter grading.
