Seminar, two hours. Requisite: course M231. Emphasis on particular issue in evolutionary biology, varying in topic whenever offered. Topics may include advances in phylogenetic methodology; relationship between development and evolution; biogeography, climate change, and faunal evolution; dispersal mechanisms and macroevolutionary patterns; adaptation and diversification; macroevolutionary patterns in fossil record.
