(Same as Psychology M144.) Lecture, three hours. Requisite: one course from 10, 12, 13, or Psychology 100A. Selected theories for quantification of psychological, educational, social, and behavioral science data. Classical test, factor analysis, generalizability, item response, optimal scaling, ordinal measurement, computer-adaptive, and related theories. Construction of tests and measures and their reliability, validity, and bias. P/NP or letter grading.
