This class is known to be easy with Johnson and after taking it myself in-person, I also agree. What I liked about this class is that there is not necessarily any homework. Yes, we do have to read some research papers before each lecture so that we will be prepared to answer some questions about the papers, however, I've seen many people (myself included) who just glance over the research papers during lecture.

Very easy and low-stress. No exams, just some readings and group work.

There is no exams in the class, only group worksheets in class every class and a final paper. The class is very low-stress yet I have learned a lot from reading the papers. Definetely recommend.

Prof Johnson is super nice and chill. He’s a nice guy

Professor Johnson is a really great professor and is really well known within the academic community of psychology. I feel like I see his papers so often in my other perceptual development courses and its pretty shocking to see every time. The class itself was pretty easy. The only work in the course consisted of group assignments during the lecture time which you submit as a group at the end of the class. The assignment is based on the reading that he assigns. There isn't really a final, but there is an extra credit assignment research paper that you can write on any subject that he taught in the course. Overall, I think this course is one of the easiest, but also informative, Psychology courses at UCLA.

This was a really great course with little to no stress. There were no midterms and no finals, just a weekly assignment that everyone got to work in groups on. Professor Johnson is a really great guy and I feel bad for everyone that won't get to take his class in the future. I and all the other friends I had in his class had a great time learning from him.

Great class! there's only a short paper at the end of the class you have to do, rest of work is all done during class, so as long as you show up this class is great!
