Introduction to computer animation, including basic principles of character modeling, forward and inverse kinematics, forward and inverse dynamics, motion capture animation techniques, physics-based animation of particles and systems, and motor control.     Terzopolous is super knowledgeable, but lectures were hit or miss. Some were very entertaining and cool, but other times he would just play a long YouTube video about something only partially related. The projects are very fun, although somewhat difficult, but they're doable and you can get help from the TA. There was 1 midterm which was pretty easy (despite him not really providing any practice problems), and no final exam. There is a final group project where you implement a project in TinyGraphics (graphics framework made for this course, based on WebGL). The project requirements are very open ended so it was quite fun and he seemed to grade it relatively leniently. Overall, I would recommend this class if you're interested in the technical side of 3D graphics and animation.
