Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 115. Designed for juniors/seniors. Presentation of current data and theory concerning how neuron circuits produce behavior. Mechanisms of perception, response selection, motor pattern generation, learning, and motivation, with emphasis on operation of these processes in well-defined neural circuits in animals and humans.
