Lecture, three hours. Requisite: one course from Comparative Literature 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 2AW, 2BW, 2CW, or English Composition 3 or 3H. Knowledge of Southeast Asian languages not required. Advanced exploration of Southeast Asia through in-depth reading of texts from region. Topics include censorship, politics, language, and literature. P/NP or letter grading.
