(Same as Arabic M231.) Lecture, three hours. Requisites: course 102C, Arabic 102C. Reading of Judeo-Arabic texts by Maimonides (medieval religion, medicine, philosophy) and more recent texts in Judeo-Arabic dialects of Iraq and Egypt, with discussion of grammar and deviations from norms of classical Arabic. S/U or letter grading.
