Travel Behavior Analysis
(Same as Civil Engineering M287 and Public Policy M221.) Lecture, three hours. Requisites: courses 207 and 220B, or Public Policy 201 or M201A, and 203. Descriptions of travel patterns in metropolitan areas, recent trends and projections into future, overview of travel forecasting methods, trip generation, trip distribution, mode split traffic assignment, critique of traditional travel forecasting methods and new approaches to travel behavior analysis. Letter grading.
