    Quarter Taken: Fall 2021 In-Person
    Grade: A-

Really interesting class, professor keeps topics relevant and timely. Learned about a lot of ongoing and current tax programs that I didn't know about before. Probably the most eye-opening Econ class I've taken at UCLA. Only class where econ skills/models were applied to really relevant and real-world topics.

    Quarter Taken: Winter 2023 In-Person
    Grade: A-

The class itself is one of the easiest econ electives in terms of content, but the short answer portion of her exams can be a bit subjective at times. She is not nearly as good at teaching the mathematical concepts as she is at teaching the more subjective, conceptual portions of the course. She has a habit of not staying in class during exams which is awful; she leaves the poor procter, who has no knowledge of the course, alone to watch the class during the exams while she leaves and does god knows what. Because her test questions can be subjective, the students can't ask her any clarifying questions. This made for very miserable and chaotic testing experiences. I got an A- because I bombed the final (got a 50%) since I did not focus on Week 10 concepts as much as I should have. Her final exam is not comprehensive AT ALL; she mostly focuses on weeks 9 and 10. Homeworks are annoyingly tedious to complete, but not terribly difficult. She is a bit of a hard ass about getting to class on time, but attendance isn't mandatory, so she's just blowing hot air.
