Survey of musics from China's border regions and neighboring countries: technical musical characteristics and important contextual issues related to traditional and modern styles from Mongolia, Uighurs of Xinjiang, Tibet, Tibeto-Burman peoples, Hmong, and indigenous peoples of Taiwan. Concurrently scheduled with course C159. S/U or letter grading.
