Lecture, three hours; laboratory, five hours. Requisites: Chemistry 14B and 14BL, or 20B and 30AL, 153A, Life Sciences 7A, 7B, 7C, Physics 1C and 4BL, or 5C. Not open for credit to students with credit for Ecology and Evolutionary Biology 170 or to Physiological Science majors. Introduction to physiological principles, with emphasis on organ systems and intact organisms. Letter grading.

    -For 6 units this is quite a good class.
    -If you can memorize the slides, you will get 100% on the exams
    -The work is mainly just busywork, you can do them on auto pilot. For reference the LS7 series had more work.
    -The labs basically never took up the whole allotted time, we're typically done in 2 hours
    -The professor grades in favor for the students. If there's a question that many got wrong he'll just remove it without much hassle. On the midterm I couldn't answer a major question and thought my score would be 90 max, but I got a 97 because he simply removed the hard questions.
