Lecture, four hours. Designed to improve listening comprehension and discussion skills by viewing and analyzing variety of American films. Emphasis on understanding and using idiomatic language, expanding vocabulary, recognizing dialect differences, and reflecting on cultural similarities and differences. Offered in summer only.
