I was not a fan of this class. He said no phones or iPads but didn't say anything about computers, then got mad when we brought them to take notes. He said we can only bring our computers when he wanted us to. He make errors in the assignment description or assign the wrong thing and instead of fixing his mistake and accepting responsibility, he didn't bring it up and gave us bad score. He wasn't very understanding, even if you had valid reasons. During class he would constantly make us do group assignments. He showed us some very triggering things without even letting us know before hand (like people being lynched or set on fire). Attendance and participation was required, but a lot of the times he wouldn't plan the time during class accordingly and he would talk too much. This caused us to run out of time and everyone wasn't able to participate even though we raised our hands, then when it I brought it up he said I should've raised my hand faster. Either way someone wouldn't get credit because he loves to hear himself talk so much. He cancelled class one time because he was so tired, and then made us have individual zoom meetings during a holiday. The class was overall easy to get a good grade, but he made it unbearable.
