Such an easy class. Take it with her.
This class is an easy A bit somehow I feel like Professor Wang is a little unclear about the materials. Overall a good class.
Pretty easy class
Good professor, class was super simple
It is very easy to get an A in
Pretty easy class and she would tell us what specific type of problems to expect on the exams. Sometimes lectures could be confusing though so I depended a lot on my TA
Textbook material very useful (the ones uploaded to the Files)
You can sum up all that you learn in 33b within 2 regular teaching sessions; they drag it out a lot. You can get by with very little work in this class; the most simple applications of diff eq's is tested on the midterm and final.
easiest math class I've taken at UCLA so far, Prof Wang can be hard to understand during lectures and I didn't always follow what she was saying but her lecture notes are comprehensive and make up for it. Both the final and the midterm were super super easy, during the midterm half the class had left by the 20 minute mark. there were like 5 HW assignments and 3 not timed "quizzes" which were basically like homework assignments. She also would tell us exactly what type of questions would come in the final.
Tests were very similar to past exams and homework. Lectures aren't helpful but if you can cram before the midterms and finals you are set.
The professor was nice and the class structure was simple. I self studied and watched lecture recordings and received an A.
