    Quarter Taken: Fall 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A

Extremely interesting course. Lectures consists of discussing readings and discussing various contemporary biomedical ethical issues. The only homework assigned were three ‘reflection papers’, one page in length, in which you could respond to and write about the materials presented throughout the week. One written exam midterm graded very generously by the TA’s. Professor is very engaging and clearly knows what he is talking about. I took this class during the Fall 2022 TA strike, so Professor cancelled the Final and gave an A as long as the midterm and all three reflection papers were completed.

    Quarter Taken: Fall 2022 In-Person
    Grade: A

This class was really interesting. The first half focused on ethics more generally, including history and different ideologies. The second half focused on more specific issues. Overall this was a very helpful class, very easy if you attended/listened to lectures and at least skimmed readings.
