Going to lecture and lab is enough for this class. it was very manageable.

the professor is very sweet and accommodating, and you'll do well as long as you do the assignments on time and take good notes

Good structure, very easy class. Didn't really read textbook or watch lectures. Just read through the lecture slides. Practice exams were super helpful

Compared to what some people are saying, I personally had a great time in this class! The materials were pretty straightforward, and there was only one recorded lecture + 1 lab each week. The labs were very dry and boring and long, but the lectures themselves were pretty informative. The exams were not the easiest thing ever, but I think they were fair. Overall, I would say this is a good class to take, no need to worry.

This class ended up being much easier than I anticipated

I took this class online in Summer 2023 with Dr. Firstenberg and it was pretty easy, as long as you watch the lectures and go to lab. The final was open-note with 40 multiple-choice questions.

Great class, it was easy to follow along in the course and labs weren't mandatory (attendance wasnt taken) but it is great to go as it goes through the lab assignments.

Very solid and easy class! No textbook needed.

The lectures are very informative, but make sure you're careful while working on the labs. I made very minor mistakes, and they costed me entire questions (which proportionally was a large part of my lab grade). The class overall is fair though, just do the practice midterms they provide and put effort into the labs and you'll be okay.

do not get the $60 textbook assisted learning thing they offer. also avoid stephanie wert as a TA. she was extremely unhelpful yet so harsh with grading - even if you go to office hours and ask her to look over your work before turning in she still somehow finds the most nitpicky things to shaft you on. the exams were somewhat difficult. they were 40 mcq online but you can't go back once you go to the next question.
