Modern methods of materials characterization; fundamentals of crystallography, properties of X rays, X-ray scattering; powder method, Laue method; determination of crystal structures; phase diagram determination; high-resolution X-ray diffraction methods; X-ray spectroscopy; design of materials characterization procedures.
