Digital Media and Human Development

Lecture, three hours. Designed for junior/senior majors. Examination of social science research on media and technology during development to understand positive and negative roles of technology and media in children's lives. Topics include social media, video games, brain development, and learning with technological tools from age 2 through 18 (and through emerging adulthood). May be repeated for credit.
