Professor was great and would respond to emails fast!
An interesting class, and ankowski is a fun lecturer! Iclicker participation is required but you can miss 4 lectures. Also highly recommend reading the required book because its actually quite fun and not too expensive. Weekly homework written assignments but they were graded easily. Only downside was the 8am lecture time which made me be a bit behind, but she records lecture
This was an interesting class I took in the fall quarter 2023. It was a bit uninteresting to me for the first few topics but it gets more interesting later on throughout the quarter. One thing I did not like about the course was the lack of resources provided for midterm preparation.
Amber Ankowski was a great lecturer and overall, the class was very interesting to learn about and incredibly easy to get a good grade in. The entire class is graded off of the midterm, exam, in-class iclicker questions, a couple discussion posts (which you can do weekly), and weekly homework assignments. I finished the discussion posts within the first 4 weeks of the class, and spent very little time on the class as a whole. As long as you spend a little time studying for the midterm and final, you'll be completely fine and should get an A.
Overall this was a pretty enjoyable class.
I thought the professor was very clear and detailed.
