Professor Akaturk is a pretty good lecturer, the only big issue I had was that the accent made things a bit difficult to understand sometimes. Lectures weren't recorded but she posts the lecture slides by dates so it's really easy to catch up if you miss a day. The content is obviously pretty challenging but if you don't fall behind on keeping up with lectures (like I did) then it should be manageable. There is the option of dropping one midterm and having the final weighed more which was nice, but the final was pretty difficult.
I feel that Akaturk gradually became better at lecturing as the quarter went on. The fact that I just gradually understood the material better as the quarter progressed played into it as well, though. The material isn't that difficult; just do all the assigned homework and you'll be fine.
Kind of messy lectures, but really easy midterm and final.
