A very thoughtful and helpful professor. He answers any questions you may have using Piazza and doesn't try to trick you on any of his HW/MT/Final questions.
Gannon was an amazing prof who gave really clear lectures and was also clear on what he wanted us to know. Definitely recommend Gannon, although I would say he prepared you more to succeed in the class than to get a solid understanding of linear algebra.
goated professor, his lectures were super entertaining and he tried to explain concepts as much as possible
his tests were super similar to the homework problems, so i would highly recommend starting those early
I took this class with three other classes and I would say this class was more of my easier classes. I was able to do well on the exams mainly studying the lecture's contents and the homework problems. I would say the textbook is not necessary.
Tom Gannon is a great lecturer. I was well prepared for the tests and got the grades I expected.
It was a great class and the professor is excellent.
The exams were straightforward and Gannon is the best (math) professor out there. Would switch to being a math major if I could take him again!
One of the best classes I've taken, would recommend to anyone who has the option of taking his class. Course material is manageable and workload is on the lighter side. Homework was reasonable and prepared me sufficiently for midterms and the final. I never used the textbook and liked that there was nothing else I had to pay for. Gannon is an excellent professor; engaging, straight to the point, and interactive. He's great at explaining things in a way that just makes sense. Solid experience, coming from someone who isn't particularly great at math.
Gannon is the goat! Clear and entertaining lecturer, made the class easier to understand and listen to.
Prof Gannon was a really engaging lecturer. One of the best math professors.
