So sad i got a B+ in this class bc its much much easier than the 31 or 32 math classes (Which i hate hate hate). Overall he explains the concepts well and nothing is overly complicated. the tests are fair and he lets u use an index card on them so u can write whatever formulas u need. he's a fun professor too if u get to know him. he has good example problems during his lectures that help u understand things better. i liked how he tells u what u need to know for the test and doesnt waste time teaching random concepts that are not relevant or needed. he gets to the point usually.

Shin is a really good professor, with fair exams. He was very fair on partial credit, and a great teacher. His lecture notes were amazing.

Brian Shin is a great professor. His lectures are clear, and he uploads lecture notes as well as posting recordings of the class.

Class is really easy. I just read the notes he published - didn’t even have to watch lecture or read the textbook. His explanations are clear and the class isn’t much work. My only complaint is that a lot of the material seems like “plug and chug” and not much understanding, but that would mean the class would be a lot harder, so you win some and lose some I guess.
