    Quarter Taken: Spring 2018 In-Person
    Grade: A

Prof. Liu is unfortunately one of the worst instructors I've had at UCLA. Due to a thick English accent, his lectures are barely comprehensible to me (especially considering I'm a non-native speaker of English). What makes lectures worse is that he would often reference a variable defined two boards ago and hasn't been used, without bothering to clarify.

The exams were also miscalibrated. While the midterms were super easy, the final had a few questions that were well nigh impossible to do.

However, he can be quite accommodating in other ways. I enrolled in his section late (during Week 2) while previously being waitlisted for another section. Instead of making me redo the week 1 homework, he offered to simply waive it.
