Dr. Ow is amazing! He's an incredibly clear lecturer and he prints out all the slides ahead of time so we can follow along. Midterms and finals were hard, and had only a few questions so it was easy to get a bunch of points off, but if you studied and put in effort they're fine. Dr. Ow posts all the relevant problems from the textbook onto Canvas, so you don't actually need to buy the textbook. In addition to the recommended problems from the syllabus, he post even more extra problems (and solutions!) onto Canvas. It's a lot of practice problems and will take up a lot of time, but that's really the only way you can master the material. Homeworks and quizzes were not too difficult and basically free points (especially since homeworks had unlimited attempts). Would definitely take this professor again.
