Reviews
The summer class has one paper and one final. The class itself is manageable if you don't slack off from the asynchronous aspect. The lectures itself are really long and I would recommend taking notes the first time you watch them as you would not enjoy going back. I don't think the textbook readings helped that much so don't read it if you don't have time. The supplemental readings can be skimmed but not super important. Be sure to memorize consonants and vowels (material emphasized by the TAs). The discussion sections are mandatory in person or reflection after watching a recording. The discussion materials are good review for the quiz and the final, so review it.
