General and Organic Chemistry Laboratory I
Lecture, one hour; laboratory, three hours. Enforced requisite: course 14A or 20A or 20AH with grade of C- or better. Enforced corequisite: course 14B. Not open to students with credit for course 20L. Introduction to volumetric, spectrophotometric, and potentiometric analysis. Use and preparation of buffers and pH meters. Synthesis and kinetics techniques using compounds of interest to students in life sciences. P/NP or letter grading.

Class is not too hard, but needs more structure. More structure needed specifically for prelabs/postlabs, as there are specific things prof looks for that is not really made clear.
this class so largely depends on your TA, their grading, and the way that they teach you. i did not have a good experience with my TA, but my friend did. tip: actually attend lecture and try the practice problems!
The outcome of the class largely depends on your TA, so take advantage of office hours! The content of exams is basically what is covered in class, though be wary of discrepancies and occasional errors in the lecture slides.
