    For this professor specifically, textbook reading wasn't mandatory except for the "reading memos" - just skim it enough to get your credit/no credit points, and that's all you need.

    Had to read a lot (and write a similar amount) but tests were pretty easy and grading was reasonable; Ewing was super nice and passionate, so I enjoyed being in lecture a lot!
