Really easy A, and the professor made materials very organized
Wang is very organized in her lectures and lecture notes, and she posted the slides so it was easy to follow along with lectures or review later. She explained concepts well. The only downside to lectures was that attendance was required (honestly, we're adults here, and that's just annoying).
The class had weekly quizzes (very easy, open-note), homework (also pretty easy, maybe an hour a week), and a lab component in R. The labs were biweekly, and took maybe 2 hours each (so about an hour a week), but the TAs basically covered exactly how to do them in the lab sections, so even if you have no experience coding, they should be manageable.
Super easy chill class, discussion sections basically give you the answers to all the lab questions. If you look at the lecture slides, you can do well on the homework and exams.
Easy A
She is the GOAT!! Very clear with explanations. Slides are very clear, she shows examples, and it's a very easy class. Lecture is sorta mandatory as she has attendance questions due at the end of lecture. Overall, just put in a little bit of work and you will get an A.
The class is really easy. Participation and Quiz points are cumulative, so once you reach a certain amount, you will get full credit. In addition, midterm is open notes. The coding labs were also easy, given that the TAs gives the code to questions quite similar to the lab.
The recorded lectures were super clutch. If you've taken AP stats or have any stats knowledge, this class should be very light.
The class wasn't so bad. The slides were a little confusing and the Professor could be a little confusing but she was very fair with the grading. For Finals exam, you were allowed to take the exam twice and your final score was the average of the two exams.
Surprisingly this class was honestly pretty tough and time consuming. To be fair, I came in thinking this would be an easy GE. The labs take a long time and I found the exams unnecessarily tricky.
