BONNIE GOFF is the best!!! She incorporated bits from her own parenting experiences into the curriculum for the class and everything just kind of makes sense when she teaches it. I learned so much, but also had fun learning in this class!
Great professor and great class! Assignments were super short and doable.
This is honestly one of the best classes I've taken at UCLA mainly because Dr. Goff is a great teacher, the TAs are amazing at further explaining concepts, the course is very organized, and the material just ends up sticking with you. I was already content taking this class because I heard so many good things but I initially wasn't that excited because this was a developmental class and I don't care that much for kids haha. Despite this, I really enjoyed learning the different concepts and a lot of the cool things we discussed has stuck with me. I would recommend this class to anyone really so take it if you can.
Professor Goff is so kind and accommodating. I loved this class and her so much! I would definitely recommend trying hard on the first midterm as only one of the two midterms count towards your grade.
Fairly easy. The exams were a little tricky because of the wording but not terrible. I would recommend going over the slides.
Nice prof, lecture and material was interesting. Exams were multiple choice. Some tricky questions but if you studied all material in lecture you should do well in the class
The prof is available for office hours and helpful.
Goff is the most engaging professor! Definitely recommend
Wonderful professor, really love the content but iclicker was an issue because of the poor network
goff is so sweet! tests could be tricky sometimes but overall pretty low maintenance and learned a lot
Bonnie is a great professor. I enjoyed attending her class and learning about a subject I thought I was not interested in. The professor has a friendly attitude and explains concepts in simple, digestable pieces. Showing up to lecture and engaging with the concepts is the best way to prepare for the exam.
