class was really easy overall-- the professor allowed a cheat sheet for the midterm, which made it really really easy. should be a breeze if you took anything stats related in high school, and even if you didn't just the bare minimum of lecture would be more than enough to get an A
The class material itself was rather boring, but Trott explains it well and is very patient with students. Weekly quizzes with unlimited attempts were great for staying on track.
I liked this class and the way Trott taught it. He broke down concepts, and also recorded lectures which made it easier. He is very approachable, and can tell designed the class in order for the student to succeed.
Super easy class, don’t have to go to lectures
Textbook is the key to this class, sections are meaningless but required when I took it.
Professor Trott is a great lecturer and is very clear with his expectations. Also, he and the TAs provide lots of help with the labs and homework assignments.
Trott is a great lecturer and he really cares about students. He's very transparent about what the midterms and finals look like.
Quite an interesting class, pretty easy, tests are weekly and online
Study through the textbook and make sure to ask questions
The textbook is mandatory. Classes weren't mandatory but you have to fill a worksheet that we did during class and turn it in. They were recorded and there was a zoom option. You had to attend two lab section to get full credit and the rest were extra credit. He gave extra credit for pretty much each section. All homework was due on Thursday. The class was memorization but mostly having understanding of the topics. The first exam was easy. But the last two were really tricky, and phrased weird. He was pretty chill and lets you bring notes to the exam.
