Math 115A was difficult because of the different approach with proofs but Min made the class pretty fair with occasional hints to the exams. It took me a while to learn the logic behind solving a proof but practicing extra problems in the textbook and using other online resources really helps.

This is an easy class overall, in terms of both difficulty and workload. The professor gives well-written notes for every lecture. As long as you read and understand the notes, you don't need to go to lectures, because lectures are entirely based on those notes, and the notes are pretty comprehensive on their own. Homework takes at most a few hours per week. Exams are fair and very much like the sample ones, easier than homework.

115A with Min was a pretty chill class overall compared to other versions I've heard--HW was weekly with 4-5 problems each week (vs 10+ in other sections), and the midterm and final were very fair (variations on practice HW/old midterm problems)--I recommend 115A with Min if you are looking to learn the content without having an excess amount of work
